At its first glance, the script is a comedy in the simplest sense of the word. It looks at the various instances of our lives when we continuously run but without ever getting anywhere. The metaphor of the treadmill looms throughout the play, in its content and in its form, where images, instances and memories repeat but are interpreted afresh by everyone in their own way.Written by Sandeep Shikhar and directed by Abhishek Majumdar, it stars Sandeep Shikhar, Virginia Rodrigues and Ashwini Kumar Chakre.To be staged on Saturday, September 22, at 8 pm and Sunday, September 23, at 6 pm, Treadmill will be performed at the NIFT auditorium in Madhapur.
