Tribal girl missing

ROURKELA: A tribal woman, Magdali Tirkey approached Bisra Police on Friday  with a plea to rescue her daughter, Dulari languishing in Delhi.In her complaint, Magdali of Ursai village under Nuagaon block in Sundargarh district alleged that she found her 14-year-old missing on returning home from work. She got to know from the villagers that a local agent Ajita and her accomplice Putu had taken Dulari to Delhi. But they refused to help her trace the Class-VIII student when approached, she added.A few days back, Dulari called up a village youth and said she is being held captive but could not identify the place.  Sundargarh Zilla Parishad Chairperson Serofina Topno and social activist Ritupurna Mohanty accompanied Magdali to the police. Serofina demanded a check on rampant migration of gullible minor girls from tribal pockets.
