BANGALORE: In separate incidents, two persons were murdered in the city. Muniyamma, 45, a group ‘D’ staff at ISRO, was found murdered at her residence at 2nd Cross in AK Colony of V Nagenahalli in Hebbal police station limits on Tuesday evening. The miscreants had slit her throat with a knife and smashed her head with a stone. In another incident, Shashikumar, 27, a daily wage labourer and a native of Chittoor in Andhra Pradesh, was allegedly murdered by his friend over financial dispute in Parappana Agarahara police station limits on Tuesday.The victim’s friend Neelakanta, 29, allegedly killed him by hitting his head with a cricket bat.The police have arrested Neelakanta in this connection.
