Threat calls have been issued by various outfits, including Sri Ram Sene.
New Delhi: With only three days to go for the Valentine's day, the National Commission for Women (NCW) has written to all state chief Ministers to ensure curbing of moral policing by over enthusiasts.
The NCW's move assumes significance in the wake of a threat call issued by various outfits, including Pramod Muthalik's Sri Ram Sene in Mangalore.
NCW has asked all state governments to ensure that women and girls are not harassed by individuals or groups on February 14th.
NCW Chairperson Girija Vyas wants the state machinery to be vigilant on the day.
