VSSC to conduct workshop for students

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre is conducting a students’ workshop programme on October 7 for school students in connection with the World Space Week celebrations. The workshop includes lectures related to space programme, interactive session with space scientists, a visit to the VSSC Space Museum  and, possibly, viewing a rocket launch. About 50 students from CBSE and ICSE streams studying in schools in Thiruvananthapuram district will be included in the group. CBSE and ICSE schools within Thiruvananthapuram Corporation limits willing to send students should contact VSSC by September 28 on the following telephone numbers: 0471 - 2569366, 2569307. e-mail: [email protected].
