'The Dirty Picture' is set for a December release and there is no one in the industry who is not waiting to see Vidya in the sultry, sensuous role of Silk Smitha.
Though Ekta Kapoor says that the movie has not been inspired by Silk Smitha, the original item girl of the South, the movie can be called a loose bio-pic on the dancer-actress.
The movie stars Vidya Balan, Naseeruddin Shah, Emraan Hashmi and Tusshar Kapoor.
