Out of the 12 persons on board, nine have been rescued. Search was on for the sole missing fisherman.
Canning: Two bodies were found on Tuesday by rescuers near an island at Patharpratima in South 24 Parganas district where a fishing trawler capsized. A district official said the bodies were found floating this afternoon and were of the two missing fishermen who were aboard the vessel which toppled on Monday.
Twelve fishermen had left the Namkhana jetty on September 15 in MV Vijaylakshmi and were returning back with their catch when the trawler got stuck near the Luthiyan Island close to Patharpratima, the official said.
