Talented designer duo Gauri & Nainika proved that fashion can also be a powerful tool to raise awareness on issues which the world seems to be oblivious despite knowing how critical it can be. Not only was their creation high on glamour and pizzazz but the designer duo also gave a very hard hitting message.
Gauri and Nainika's Spring-Summer collection had awe-striking prints and designs inspired from the mother nature and the way they transcribed it in their collection was bemusing. Be it the blue and white impression of the melting glacier or the subliminal impressions of continents in their designs, the way their incorporated these prints on their sleek gowns, was a treat to the eyes.
The dresses and gowns were presented in vivacious prints showing melting ice caps , CO2 gas emissions, used car dumps and drought demonstrating the catastrophic contributors to the issue of global warming.
