BANGALORE: A 34-year-old woman was found dead under mysterious circumstances at her residence in Bidadi police station limits in Ramanagaram district on Tuesday morning.The deceased has been identified as Anitha. Ramu (40), her husband, was also found lying unconscious with a stab injury. The incident took place in Chellaghatta at Ramanagaram. Ramu has been moved to Victoria Hospital and is said to be in a critical condition.The incident came to light when Anitha’s mother found the main doors of her daughter’s house open and both lying on the floor. She immediately informed the matter to the police.It is said that Ramu is a vagabond and often the couple fought over his irresponsibilities. Anitha was working in a distillery and she took care of the family. The couple were married for 13 years and have two children. One of their kids is staying with Anitha’s mother, while the seven-year-old boy who is mentally challenged stays with the couple. The police suspect that Anitha may have committed suicide and Ramu may have attempted suicide by stabbing himself. However, they did not rule the chances of Ramu killing his wife before stabbing himself. The post mortem report will throw light on the death of the woman, the police said. Bidadi police have registered a complaint are further investigating the case in this regard.Man Electrocuted at Rly StationBangalore: An unidentified man, said to be of an unsound mind, was electrocuted when he tried to cross the railway track by climbing over the bogie at the City Railway Station on Tuesday evening. At around 6.30pm, the man climbed atop of the bogie which was stationed on the buffer track next to the Platform No 1 and was electrocuted when he came in contact with the electric cable above the bogie. According to the onlookers, the man was wandering in the station before the incident took place and died within minutes and his body was charred by electric shock. However, no police case was registered.
