In a recent development, Zeenat has shared a surprising revelation on social media, announcing the dissolution of her marriage to Munish Raja. In the viral video, Zeenat Priya issued a heartfelt apology to her adoptive father, expressing regret for causing him pain. She disclosed her separation from Munish Raja, emphasising that their union was not legally recognised.
“Greetings, everyone. I am Priya, Rajkiran sir’s adopted daughter. As you may have learned from the media, I married actor Munish Raja in 2022, but we are now separated. Our marriage was not legally binding, and I want to make that clear. Additionally, I acknowledge that I caused a lot of pain to my father after the wedding. Despite that, he supported me when I faced difficulties, showing unexpected kindness. I ask for forgiveness, Father," she said in the video.
Priya and Munish Raja’s love story began on social media, when the actor reached out to her through Facebook. Their friendship evolved into a romantic relationship, supported by Munish Raja’s family. Rajkiran strongly opposed the union, expressing doubts about Munish Raja’s eligibility to marry his daughter and suspecting possible ulterior motives.
The deeply in love couple eventually eloped. In response, Zeenat levelled several accusations against her adoptive father. In a subsequent statement on social media, Rajkiran, asserted that he has only one child, his son Nainar Mohammad; and he has disassociated himself from Zeenat. He accused Munish Raja of cunningness, describing him as lazy and driven by financial motives, suggesting he aimed to exploit Rajkiran’s reputation for opportunities in the film industry.
