On August 17, the makers of the highly-anticipated, Vijay starrer titled GOAT (The Greatest Of All Time), unveiled its official trailer. The trailer has caused a sensation online, delighting the fans to the core. In a recent media interaction, the director of the release Venkat Prabhu, revealed what his good friend superstar Ajith Kumar, said about the release.
After the release of GOAT’s official trailer, director Venkat Prabhu and producer Archana Kalpathi held a press conference for the occasion. At the event, they answered several questions related to the film and extended their congratulations on the incredible response to the release.
As per reports, Venkat Prabhu was asked about Ajith Kumar’s reaction to the GOAT trailer. According to the filmmaker, the actor stated, “The trailer is superb.” Ajith added, “Wishing you and Vijay the very best for the film.” Venkat revealed that even though Ajith was very busy with his commitments, he took the time to watch the trailer. The news of one superstar congratulating the other came as a joy to the fans of each actor, as it is now making rounds on social media.
The makers also discussed the de-ageing techniques that were used to make Vijay look 23 years old. The effects are done by the LA-based company called Lola Visual Effects LLC. As per the information given, they have worked for Marvel films like Ant-Man, Avengers: Age Of Ultron, Captain America: Winter Soldier and Deadpool & Wolverine.
GOAT is directed as well as written by Venkat Prabhu. The cast of the film includes an ensemble of Vijay, Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Ajmal Ameer, Mohan, Jayaram and many others. It is being produced by Kalpathi S Aghoram, Kalpathi S Ganesh and Kalpathi S Suresh under the banner of AGS Entertainment. The music in the film will be handled by Yuvan Shankar Raja while the cinematographer is Siddhartha Nuni and the editing is done by Venkat Raajen. The film is gearing up for a release on September 5, this year.
