Purab Kohli, who began his career with the super-hit television show 'Hip Hip Hurray' has impressed the viewers time and again with his impeccable acting abilities. The actor, who is all geared up for his upcoming film 'Airflit' which also features Akshay Kumar and Nimrat Kaur, spoke to IBNLive.com, and revealed how Akshay will be a perfect pick for an adventurous travel show with his 'dare-devil-ness'.

The 'Rock On!' actor, who’s a travel enthusiast and has many travel-based shows to his credit including ‘Life Mein Ek Baar’ quipped that if given a chance to recreate a show like that, he would like to do it with Akshay Kumar, along with his fiancee Lucy Payton because of the 'Baby' actor's fearless attitude. "Akshay Kumar is an interesting person to do a show like that. He’s such a dare-devil. It’ll be nice to jump out of the plane or stand on a wing of the plane."

While throwing light into Akshay’s gutsy take at life, he also mentioned a scene where the actor actually stood on the wings of the airplane with his feet tied. "Akshay has even had a sequence like that. We were chatting about that and he revealed that he had done it; standing on the wings of the plane with his feet tied. This man has guts!"

While talking about iconic roles that he wished he could play, he expressed his desire to try hands on action genre as he feels there’s 'lack of action in his career' so far. "Rocky Balboa from 'Rocky' is one role I would definitely like to play from the past. What a beautiful script. It breaks the stereotypes of the usual script writing and still manages to work and make you fall in love with the character. Also, I feel there’s a lack of action in my career. The only action I’ve done is probably getting beaten up in 2-3 films (laughs)."

When asked about his aspects he looks into while signing a film, he honestly revealed that it’s not just one factor but a combination of aspects including the script, character and the director that makes it fall into place for him.

'Airflift', which is shot in Ras-al-Khaimah, UAE, will see Purab sporting a rugged look and essaying the role of Ibrahim Durani, a small town man from India working in the Middle East. Inspired by the evacuation of Indians who were based in Kuwait during the Iraq-Kuwait war, the film will be released this Friday.
