Amitabh Bachchan Is 'Normal, Sane' As He's Still Working, Says Ajay Devgn: 'Everyone Comes With Expiry Date'
Ajay Devgn said that the only way to delay our expiry dates is to continue working hard.

In a video shared on the NH Studioz YouTube channel, Ajay said, “Gradually, you start forgetting all your hobbies. And now, when you have a break, you really don’t know what to do with yourself. You realise that you enjoy being on set the most. I’m the happiest on set, or when I’m working.”

He continued, “I also believe – and I hope everybody believes this as well – that till whatever age you live, you keep working. The moment you stop working and decide to chill in life, you will age three times faster. Look at Mr Bachchan. He loves to work, he’s continuously working at this age also. He’s intelligent, normal, sane today also, only because he’s working.” He added, “Everyone comes with an expiry date, but if you keep working harder, the expiry dates keep getting delayed.”

Amitabh Bachchan is currently basking in the success of Kalki 2898 AD. Starring powerhouse performances from Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan, the film delves into a modern rendition of Lord Vishnu’s incarnation on Earth to battle malevolent powers. Kalki 2898 AD debuted with impressive box office earnings of Rs 95.3 crore in India, while the overseas collections stood at Rs 61 crore. On its first day alone, the film collected Rs 114 crore, according to Sacnilk.

The film has managed to perform well on the second day of its theatrical debut despite being a midweek non-holiday release. The Nag Ashwin directorial successfully crossed the Rs 50 crore mark on Friday. According to Sacnilk.com, Kalki 2898 AD collected an estimated Rs 54 crore net in India for all languages.

News18 Showsha rated the film 4/5 and was all praise for Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas’ performances in the film. Our reviewer said, “Kalki is an out-and-out Amitabh film. Even though we see very little of him in the first half, the actor’s screen time increases in the second half. The intensity with which he delivers his dialogues is worth praising. Prabhas’ Bhairava and Bujji add an element of humour to Kalki 2898 AD. Even though Prabhas’ action sequences in the first half lack energy, he stuns all with his fierce avatar in the second half of the film. His face-off with Amitabh surely deserves a special mention and is one of the major highlights of the film.”
