Bigg Boss Tamil 8: Producer Ravinder Chandrasekar And Actor Ranjith Among Highest-paid Contestants

Vijay Sethupathi, known for his acting skills, has stepped into a new role as the host of the Bigg Boss Tamil 8. Kamal Haasan, who hosted the first seven seasons, has taken a break from the renowned reality show. Producer Ravindar Chandrasekaran, actor Ranjith and 18 celebrities have become a part of this show starting on October 6. This space articulates the salaries paid to the contestants in the show.

1. Producer Ravinder Chandrasekar- Producer Ravinder Chandrasekar is known for producing films like Sutta Kudhai, Nalanum Nandhiniyum, etc. As per the reports, he will be paid Rs 50,000 daily for his stint.

2. Ranjith- Actor Ranjith has played substantial roles in the Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu films. He has also reportedly received Rs 50,000 per day for his tenure in the Bigg Boss 8 Tamil.

Other housemates like actors Arun Prasath, Arnav, Sathya, VJ Vishal, Jacqueline and Pavithra Janani are being reportedly paid Rs 20,000-Rs 25,000 per day. Actors Sunita Gogoi, Anshitha Akbarsha, Dharsha Gupta and Tharshika are also being reportedly paid the same fee.

Popular YouTuber and aspiring actor Muthukumaran and actress Soundariya Nanjundan are reportedly raking in Rs 10,000 per day for their stints in BB 8 Tamil.

In a surprising twist in the reality TV show, It was actress Sachana Namidass who got evicted from the house on the first day. The elimination happened via an open nomination, where many other contestants were nominated. If the reports are to be pointed out, Sachana was the youngest contestant of the season.

The Star Vijay channel tweeted the promo regarding Sachana’s eviction. The promo showed a teary-eyed Sachana bidding adieu to the house and the contestants. The highlight of the clip is the Bigg Boss trophy she breaks, right before she comes out of the house. The theme of the latest season of Bigg Boss Tamil is “Boys vs Girls.” This implies that the living quarters of male and female contestants have been divided.

Actress Sachana Namidass is known for her acting skills in the critically acclaimed Tamil release, Maharaja. She enacted the character of host Vijay Sethupathi’s daughter, Jothi. Directed and written by Nithilan Swaminathan, Maharaja was released at the cinema halls on June 14.
