The eighth season of Bigg Boss Telugu premiered on September 1. Superstar Nagarjuna returned as the host for the sixth time in a row. This year, a total of 14 contestants entered the house on the first day. The game has entered its fourth week now. Among the initial contestants, Abhay, Shekar and Babakka have been eliminated from the show. This week, Nabeel, Prerana, Aditya Om, Prithviraj, Manikanta and Soniya have been nominated for the elimination. Among them, Manikanta is reportedly hated by most of the contestants in the house due to various reasons. He is currently part of Nikhil’s Shakti clan which also includes Yashmi Gowda, Soniya Akula and Prithviraj. Naga Manikanta believes that he is been targeted numerous times. He asked the Bigg Boss to open the gates of the house for him to leave. He was seen in tears.
Recently, Nikhil’s clan lost a game and they were required to remove a member of the team. He and the other members of the clan unanimously decided to remove Naga Manikanta after calling him weak. Hurt by their decision, Manikanta threw away the mic and said that he wished to leave the house.
Apart from this, a huge fight erupted between the clan leaders of Shakti and Kantara. After the game, Nikhil got the power to remove one of Seetha clan’s contestants. Knowing that Nabeel is the best player in her team, Nikhil opts to rule out Nabeel from her team. This leaves Seetha shocked. And, that becomes the reason for Nikhil & Seetha’s big fight.
As per the recent reports of Filmibeat, Nabeel is trending the nomination list with 35 per cent votes. He has got the highest votes, 31,147. In the second position is Naga Manikanta with 16 per cent votes (14,228). The third position is filled by Prerana with per cent votes (14,218) and Prithviraj and Sonia Akula take the last place.
Most believe that it will be the last week for Prithviraj. This year, the makers of Bigg Boss Telugu are introducing 12 wild card entries. Each is supposed to take the place of the existing contestant.
