BTS Stars Jimin And Jungkook Announce New Travel Show Are You Sure?

BTS stars Jimin and Jungkook, currently fulfilling their mandatory military services in South Korea, are set to appear in an exciting new travel show, Are You Sure? The upcoming eight-part Disney Plus series, filmed in 2023 before their military enlistment, takes viewers on a thrilling journey across three iconic destinations: New York City, Jeju Island, and Sapporo, Japan. Throughout the show, Jimin and Jungkook will indulge in local cuisine, shopping, cooking, camping, canoeing, swimming and embarking on road trips. The series promises to delve into their special bond as they create unforgettable memories and explore new adventures together.

In the newly released poster, the two BTS members are all smiles while canoeing in the United States. Soompi reports suggest that the first two episodes will debut on August 8, followed by new episodes every Thursday. Interestingly, the filming started right after Jimin joined Jungkook after his 2023 Good Morning America Summer Concert performance. Despite their hectic schedules, the duo managed to explore two more destinations. Throughout their journey, they came across numerous challenges that left them questioning, “Are You Sure?"

Back in November, while appearing on BTS’ Suga’s YouTube talk show Suchwita, Jungkook disclosed that he and Jimin had previously discussed the idea of documenting their global adventures together.

The Seven singer shared, “Ages ago, he said it might be fun to do a travel variety show with me and I agreed. But it didn’t end up going anywhere after that. Then suddenly, they set up a shoot. It was so funny after Jimin came. It was just a total mess. As soon as he came, there’s something about Jimin that tugs at your heartstrings. It was so funny and the next day we were doing something and it was hilarious."

Before releasing the official poster of Are You Sure? BTS’ official X page teased fans with a mysterious slideshow. The teaser featured photos of Jungkook and Jimin enjoying activities, from biking and canoeing to snorkelling, boating and swimming.

Jimin is gearing up to release his second solo album, MUSE, on July 19. His first single, Smeraldo Garden Marching Band, featuring Loco, came out in June. Meanwhile, Jungkook also gifted BTS ARMY with his new song, Never Let Go in June. Both stars are currently fulfilling their mandatory military service. On BTS’ 11th anniversary, Jin became the first member to complete his service, while the rest of the group is expected to finish their service by June 2025.
