Cyrus Broacha recently revealed a hilarious story from his Bigg Boss days, where he unexpectedly fell asleep during a serious interaction with Salman Khan, much to the star’s amusement. The actor-comedian, who was part of the second season of Bigg Boss OTT, shared this and other amusing incidents on his podcast Cyrus Says.
Cyrus recalled the moment, saying, “It was the first eviction, and Salman was giving a serious lecture to someone. I was so tired that I started nodding off. Suddenly, Salman noticed and began laughing—he had never seen a contestant fall asleep while he was talking! Usually, everyone else is all ‘Salman Bhai,’ and there I was, napping.”
The food situation in the Bigg Boss house wasn’t great for Cyrus, and he mentioned that Salman sent him eggs on the day he left the show. “He sent me eggs, but five minutes later, they told me to leave because of an issue with my son. After I exited, Pooja Bhatt’s father, Mahesh Bhatt, called to check on her. Apparently, as soon as I left, all the contestants went for the eggs, which upset Pooja. She was like, ‘Where’s the emotion?’”
Cyrus also recounted another memorable encounter with Salman during his MTV days. He had to interview Salman for his film Yuvraj, but he was completely hungover from the night before. “I was out until 3 in the morning, totally drunk. Salman’s secretary called at 9 AM for the interview, and I was still out of it. I even had to stop at Lucky Biryani to vomit. The only person who got what I was going through was Salman—no judgment from him,” Cyrus shared.
Adding to the fun, co-host Cyrus Sahukar chimed in, saying, “Salman has always been super nice to you. The only time he seemed slightly irritated was when you kept asking, ‘Can I touch your arm?’ during an interview, and he was like, ‘Hey, take it easy.’”
