Devoleena Bhattacharjee Accuses Dalljiet Kaur's Estranged Husband of 'Ruining' Her Life: 'People Like Him...'

Dalljiet Kaur’s estranged husband Nikhil Patel was recently snapped at the Mumbai airport with his rumoured girlfriend. After a picture of them went viral on social media, television actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee also shared it on her Instagram stories. She penned down a long note supporting Dalljiet and accused Nikhil of ruining her life.

“The person is already married and hasn’t even gotten a divorce yet. He has arrived in India with his girlfriend. If I am not mistaken, it’s only been a year and a half since he got married to Daljeet. Anyway, it’s his life and whatever he does is his business. But who gives these people the right to ruin someone else’s life?” she wrote.

Devoleena further questioned Nikhil’s claim that he was never legally married to Dalljiet and reminded him that it is not easy to “forget everything”. “This gentleman claims that he didn’t legally marry. Then what were those 7 pheras, if not a real wedding? For people like him, making a mockery of everything, every relationship, is so easy. And then some so-called woke people will come and gyaan denge saying if those two are happy, what’s the problem? People with such limited understanding should realise that we are talking about a third person here, about Daljeet and her son. What about them? Is it that easy to forget everything and move on? Certainly, for people like Nik, this might be a common occurrence, but not for a normal human being,” he added.

Dalljiet Kaur married Nikhil Patel in March 2023 but filed for divorce earlier this year i.e. after 10 months of their wedding. Nikhil also confirmed their separation in May when he told E-Times, “In January this year, Dalljiet decided to leave Kenya with her son Jaydon and return to India, which ultimately led to our separation. We both realized that the foundation of our blended family wasn’t as strong as we had hoped, making it hard for Dalljiet to settle in Kenya. In March 2023, we held an Indian wedding ceremony in Mumbai. Though it held cultural significance, it was not legally binding. This ceremony was intended to reassure Dalljiet’s family about her move to Kenya.”

This was Dalljiet Kaur’s second marriage. She was previously married to Shalin Bhanot but the two parted ways in 2015 after she accused him of domestic violence.
