Duniya Vijay Shares Why Censor Board Gave 'A' Certificate To Bheema

Duniya Vijay, a successful director and actor, is all set to release his highly anticipated Kannada movie Bheema, which is set to release on August 9 in 400 theatres. There are a lot of expectations surrounding Duniya Vijay’s film, Bheema. Vijay was on a winning streak after movies like Robert, Pogaru and Salaga which made waves.

The film has sold out in many areas highlighting a huge demand, reflecting a social message which is portrayed beautifully by Duniya Vijay. His film also has strong dialogues, although some of the dialogues have been muted by the censors. However, Vijay helped to bring new talent to come into the limelight with his movie Bheema.

However, the movie has been censored and also given an A certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification. Nevertheless, the actor has explained the reason for the movie’s censorship, which are the strong dialogues and sensitive themes that the board believes might not be suitable for the audience.

Apart from the dialogue which has been muted, Bheema also depicts a powerful message about the dangers of drug addiction among young students, reflecting the harsh reality and consequences of such behaviour. There are also five action sequences in the film, which contributed to the A certificate, according to the producer Jagadeesh.

After watching the film, the censor officer gave a positive reaction, according to the producer. The film marks Duniya Vijay’s directional venture after the success of Salaga which also received an A certificate.

In the press meeting, Duniya Vijay shared the information about why Bheema received an A certificate. The writer Maasthi’s dialogues and Duniya Vijay’s language all contributed to this certification. Vijay and Maasthi, both have acknowledged this. Music director Charan Raj also talks about the social issues addressed in the film, which again contributed to this certification.

Duniya Vijay claimed that he has conducted research work for Bheema along with this he interviewed real characters, which helped in the formation of the basis of the film’s story. Additionally, the director is happy to depict social concerns through his movie.

Apart from this, the director has also planned a pre-release of the movie Bheema. He plans to share additional information on that day.
