The makers of Jab Harry Met Sejal very strategically introduced us to Shah Rukh Khan's Harry and Anushka Sharma's Sejal. They even unraveled what happens when Harry meets Sejal. And now, the third mini trail of the film reveals the reason behind the union of this Punjabi man and Gujarati woman.
While Anushka wrote, "Herry, actually you have a problem with everything!????What's your excuse????? @iamsrk @RedChilliesEnt http://bit.ly/JHMSMiniTrail3 #JHMSMiniTrail3," Shah Rukh captioned the trail as, "Excuse yeh hai ki main character hu…A1" on Twitter.
The two, as the trail reveals, are stranded with each other because of a ring. While Sejal is adamant that she'll not leave without the ring, Harry seems to be done with this job and wants this to end as soon as possible. He, however, sticks to Sejal and the two are on a mission of sorts to get hold of the ring.
The first two mini trails acquainted us with the cheesy and cheap Harry and the innocent yet smart Sejal and it's pretty interesting how Harry, even though he calls his character 'kharaab', addresses Sejal as ma'am every time.
Even though this film marks the third collaboration between Shah Rukh and Anushka after Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and Jab Tak Hai Jaan, the pairing and chemistry feels fresh - partly because of Imtiaz's direction and partly because of the Punjabi-Gujju touch to the characters.
Considering that the film's trail builds up mystery over a ring, it doesn't come as a surprise that Imtiaz Ali was planning to name the film The Ring. The film is slated to release on August 4.
