Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao are all set for their next release Mr & Mrs Mahi. The makers have been increasing the excitement level among fans by sharing new posters. Today, also the lead actors took to their social handles and shared three new posters. In no time it went viral and fans were seen reacting to it. The film is a production of Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Zee Studios and will be releasing on May 31.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Janhvi Kapoor shared the posters and wrote, “Miliye Mr aur Mrs Mahi se, inke liye life is cricket aur cricket is life cricket se badh ke, Mr Mahi only loves his dear wife. #MrAndMrsMahi in cinemas on 31st May, 2024.” The first poster shows Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao wearing their Indian jerseys and standing close to each other. They are smiles, and the Indian flag could be seen painted on their faces. In the second poster the duo can be seen screaming with joy. The tagline on the posters said, “An imperfectly perfect partnership.”

According to a source close to the entertainment portal Bollywood Hungama, the trailer for ‘Mr And Mrs Mahi’ is scheduled for release in the second week of May, with the exact date to be confirmed shortly. Following the trailer launch, the songs will be unveiled as part of a three-week campaign leading up to the film’s premiere.
In Mr & Mrs Mahi, Rajkummar will be portraying the character of Mahendra Singh Dhoni while Janhvi would essay the role of a character called Mahima. In an interview with Mid-Day, Janhvi had earlier revealed that she underwent a gruelling six months of intensive training in order to adapt to the mannerisms of a cricketer. The actress had said, “It was an exhaustive process of six months to get into the skin of the character and sync into the role.”
Directed by Sharan Sharma, known for his debut with ‘Gunjan Saxena – The Kargil Girl (2020), Mr And Mrs Mahi will mark Janhvi Kapoor’s fourth theatrical release, following Dhadak (2018), Roohi (2021), and Mili (2022). She is set to star in two more films this year, the political thriller ‘Ulajh’ and the Pan India project ‘Devara’ alongside Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan. For Rajkummar Rao, after ‘Srikanth’ and ‘Mr And Mrs Mahi,’ his upcoming 2024 releases include ‘Stree 2′ and Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video.’
Meanwhile, speaking of Rajkummar Rao’s upcoming biopic, ‘Srikanth’ revolves around the story of visually impaired industrialist Srikanth Bolla and is slated to hit theaters on May 10, starring Alaya F, Jyotika, and Sharad Kelkar.
