Amulya, a well-known actress in the Kannada film industry, rose to prominence with her roles in movies like Maasthi Gudi, Gajakesari, and Mugulu Nage. Following her marriage to Jagdish R Chandra, she opted to step away from the industry. On March 1 last year, she became a mother to twins. Despite her reduced involvement in showbiz, Amulya stays connected with her fans through an active presence on social media. As a dedicated mother, she often shares delightful moments with her twin boys. Recently, a couple of photos of Amulya – while on an outing with husband Jagdish, their two children and other members of their family – have been going viral. Amulya visited the Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Temple at Dharmasthala, Karnataka, where she was clicked along with her family. Her husband Jagdish shared an array of photos on his social media handle, including one with just himself, Amulya and their children. He captioned the post, “Sought Blessings with Family”.

Amulya, who has been away from the world of showbiz for quite some time, is reportedly getting ready for a comeback.

According to reports, Amulya is set to make a comeback in the film “Karavali,” directed by Gurudatha Ganiga. It is said that she will star opposite actor Prajwal Devaraj in the lead role. Director Ganiga reportedly believes that Amulya is the perfect fit for the female lead in Karavali. An official announcement about her role is expected to be made soon.

In an interview with the Times of India, Amulya discussed her return to films, saying, “I hadn’t taken a proper break in years since my debut. I started too young and was working on multiple projects. I missed out on a lot! So, I used this break to travel and explore the world. I also watched my children grow up. Now, I am ready for a comeback. I am okay with doing one film in five years which is why I am taking my own time to finalise the projects.”
