Kunchacko Boban's Crime Thriller 'Anjaam Pathiraa' to Get Bollywood Remake

Malayalam crime thriller “Anjaam Pathiraa”, which released earlier this year, is all set to get a Hindi remake. Reliance Entertainment, Ashiq Usman Productions and AP International have joined hands for the remake.

“Anjaam Pathiraa”, produced by Ashiq Usman, has been written and directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas. The film, starring Kunchacko Boban, Sharaf U Dheen, Unnimaya Prasad, Jinu Joseph and Sreenath Bhasi, revolves around a serial killer who is on a rampage, killing policemen mercilessly. The police squad join hands with a consulting criminologist and together they attempt to identify the killer.

Movie critic Taran Adarsh took to his verified Twitter account to make the announcement. “IT’S OFFICIAL… Reliance Entertainment, Ashiq Usman Productions and AP International join hands for #Hindi remake of #Malayalam crime thriller #AnjaamPathiraa [released in 2020]… Midhun Manuel Thomas directed the #Malayalam film, which was a commercial and critical success.” read the tweet.

Ashiq Usman, Managing Partner, Ashiq Usman Productions, calls “Anjaam Pathiraa” a riveting psycho murder thriller. “I am proud to say it was the biggest blockbuster of the year,” he added.
