Before venturing into acting, Mirnaa worked as a software developer in Dubai. However, fueled by her lifelong aspiration to become an actress, she returned to Kerala to pursue her dream. Mirnaa initially stepped into television using her original name, making appearances in a reality show and a series titled Dhathuputhri.

In October 2015, Mirnaa took on the female lead role in the Tamil film Nedunalvaadai, adopting the screen name Athira Santhosh. However, during the production of the film, she was reported to have attempted suicide. Mirnaa alleged that she faced harassment and mistreatment from the director, Selvakannan and felt compelled to end her life when she received no assistance from the authorities. Following her departure from the project, she changed her name to Adhiti Menon and secured a role in the Tamil film Pattathaari, which was released later in 2016 and marked her debut in cinema. Despite the film receiving negative reviews, her performance garnered appreciation, with The Times of India noting that Adhiti is expressive and is a promising find.
