Mithun Chakraborty suffered a stroke over the weekend. The actor was rushed to the hospital for treatment and is said to now be out of danger. On Sunday, a video from the hospital was shared online showing Mithun resting in his hospital bed while his doctor and BJP leader Sukanta Majumdar visited him. In a video shared by ANI on X, previously known as Twitter, Mithun was seen getting an update on his health from his doctor. The doctor was heard advising Mithun to stay hydrated.

Political leader Suvendu Adhikari also visited Mithun and shared a photo along with a video to assure fans that the actor-politician is better now. “I went to meet veteran actor and BJP Leader Shri Mithun Chakraborty at the private hospital in Kolkata where he is currently hospitalized and receiving treatment. I enquired about his health and am quite happy that he is feeling much better now. I pray for his well-being and hope that he is discharged soon,” he said.

Actress Debashree Roy also visited Mithun after his stroke and told the media that he is okay now and on the path to recovery. “I also met Mithun in the hospital. He is better now, he was taken to the hospital in time and yes, his sugar levels had gone down. He was feeling quite uneasy. But now he is out of the ICU and recuperating in a room,” Debashree Roy told Times Now.
Director Pathikrit Basu also visited Mithun in the hospital following which he said, “Well, let me tell you that I have just come from the hospital. I met him and he is better. Mithun Da also said that he would resume shoot after a few days. He talked about the things he would be doing when he comes back on the sets.”
Mithun Chakraborty was rushed to the Apollo Hospital’s emergency unit in Kolkata on Saturday, February 10. Reportedly, the actor was not feeling well following which he was taken to the hospital. Later in the day, the Apollo Hospital issued a statement and revealed that the actor suffered an Ischemic Cerebrovascular Stroke.
