Amitabh Bacchan, who was late legendary actor Rishi Kapoor's friend and co-star for ages, shared a memory of the actor lip-synching with passion at an awards ceremony. Big B, who had previously talked about Rishi's perfect acting and lip-syncing skills, shared a throwback picture where son Abhishek Bachchan, filmmaker Karan Johar and TV actor Vivian Dsena were seen on a stage.
Taking to Instagram, the Gulabo Sitabo actor wrote, “No one but no one could lip sync a song as perfectly as Rishi Kapoor .. just look at the passion in his expression .. !! Even at this age and at an event the genuineness .. simply unbeatable (sic).”
After the Bobby actor's untimely death due to a battle with cancer on April 30, Amitabh Bachchan had taken to his Tumblr blog to write a moving tribute for his long-time friend. “When he spoke his lines, you believed every word of it .. there was never an alternative .. its genuineness was beyond question .. And there has never been any other, that could lip sync a song as perfectly as he would .. never (sic).”
“He had a walk that was confident and determined .. a stride and style that was similar to that of his grandfather, the legendary Prithvi Raj ji .. a walk I had noticed in one of his earlier films .. that walk .. I never found it in any other (sic),” he added.
