NTR Kathanayakudu: Audience Declare the Balakrishna Film a Blockbuster

NTR Kathanayakudu, the first instalment of the much awaited two-part Telugu biopic on the life of actor-politician Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR), released today amid much fanfare and Balakrishna’s fans cannot keep calm.

Early reviews are up on Twitter and the select few people who have managed to watch the film so far have declared the first part of the iconic actor and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister’s biopic a blockbuster.

Praising the film, one user wrote, “What a movie Balakrishna garu , you have made us feel as if we were seeing our Yugapurshdu , Great acting by Vidhya Balan , you have given a greatest gift to the young generations who has not seen him . Dir Krish has proved him self once again Jai N T R ???????????????????? #NTRKathanayakudu.”

Another wrote, “Done with halfway #NTRKathanayakudu superb.. every frame fantastic .. every one lived in their characters.#NTRBiopic.”

Yet another tweeted, “#NTRKathanayakudu is a well-made and well-balanced film that Chronicles the life and times of N.T.R . #Balakrishna gets under the skin of NTR and carries the film on his shoulders. @vidya_balan is perfect cast for Basava Tarakam. She breathes life into the role. @DirKrish ????????????.”

Notably, NTR’s son, actor Balakrishna is playing the titular role in the film, which is supported by an excellent cast, including Rana Daggubati, Vidya Balan, Sumanth, Prakash Raj and Sachin Khedekar.

In the first part, NTR Kathanayakudu traces NTR’s journey as an actor. The second part will highlight his tryst with politics and is slated to release on February 8.
