Parineeti Chopra Distributes Sweets To Media Post Chamkila Success, Asks Paps ‘Photo Baad Mein Lena’

Parineeti Chopra on Wednesday was spotted distributing sweets to the media as she celebrated the success of her recently released film Amar Singh Chamkila. The actress was seen treating the press outside a temple. Parineeti has been getting immense praise for her performance in the film. Amar Singh Chamkila was released on April 12 on the OTT platform.

In the video, shared by Filmygyan, we can see Parineeti looking very beautiful in a white colour ethnic wear. She has opted for minimal makeup and left her hair open. She was distributing sweets and paps were congratulating her for the film. Parineeti thanked them. As she was distributing sweets, paps were clicking pictures and she asked them, “Photo baad mein lena phele yeh lo.” Earlier, the actress has been sharing a lot of BTS photos on her social handle.

Taking to her Instagram handle, Parineeti shared a series of photos and wrote, “Shoutout to my glam team, for making me Chamkila (shine) as Amarjot, for all the beautiful moments at Gurudwaras, and for capturing Amarjot throughout the film in these stills…” As soon as she shared the photos, fans praised her. One of the fans wrote, “Finally you get the appreciation which you deserved all the years I have tears seriously. You are the best.” Another wrote, “This movie has to be the Movie of this decade. Everything from costumes to dialogue to screenplay to acting to script. This is what you deserve Pari. You’re back and this is going to be watched for eons. Epic epic epic.”

On Monday, Parineeti took to social media to express her gratitude to her fans for their praise. She shared a video in which she is seen singing a song while the real Amarjot is also seen in the frame. Both are singing the same song. “Amarjot ko itna pasand karne ke liye Shukriya #Chamkila. Overwhelmed with all the love that’s been pouring in… thank you… #Grateful,” read the caption.

Chamkila directed by Imtiaz Ali, is a biographical drama based on the life of the iconic Punjabi singer Amar Singh Chamkila. Diljit Dosanjh steps into the shoes of Chamkila, while Parineeti Chopra plays his wife Amarjot.
