Recently, she was honoured as a special guest at a food festival in Toronto, where she expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the organisers for the opportunity. The actress shared a captivating clip compilation from the event, highlighting the extensive array of Indian delicacies on display. The festival attracted numerous foreigners and tourists who delighted in the feast. Additionally, the event featured cultural dances and songs.

Preity Zinta lit the lamp at the festival and could also be seen capturing the happy environment around her. Summarising her experience at the festival, she wrote, “What an amazing weekend in Toronto for another event for Taste of India, the largest food festival in North America. So humbled & so happy to see all those smiling faces. Nothing compares to our desi food & our desi vibe. Thank you Rinku Shah and Taste Of India Festival for making me a part of your tribe. I loved every part of being in Toronto. A big shout out to everyone in Toronto for showering me with so much of love.”

Earlier this year, the actress graced the Cannes Film Festival in style. She visited the event to present the renowned Pierre Angenieux Award to Santosh Sivan, a popular Indian cinematographer. Preity Zinta first collaborated with him in Dil Se. Meanwhile, the actress well known for her roles in iconic films like Dil Se, Kal Ho Naa Ho and Veer-Zaara, has been gone from the big screen for a long time. She will soon be seen in Lahore 1947 alongside Sunny Deol. The film is directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. The film marks Preity and Sunny’s long-awaited reunion on screen. The duo had already appeared together in several films like Hero: Love Story of a Spy, Farz and Bhaiaji Superhit. The actress also wrapped up shooting for the film in June.
