Meanwhile, earlier this year, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas were reportedly compelled to leave their Los Angeles home due to significant water damage and a mold infestation. On Thursday, Priyanka showcased a view from their $20 million mansion on Instagram, indicating that they have returned to their residence. Reports from The Sun US in April suggested the couple would soon move back into their newly renovated home.
Priyanka shared a series of photos on her Instagram Stories, featuring a stunning night view of Los Angeles from her balcony. She captioned one of the photos, “Being home… is feeding my soul.” She also posted a blurry selfie taken at home, captioned, “Oh hey…”
Married in 2018, Priyanka and Nick live in their Hollywood Hills mansion with their daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, who turned two in January 2024. The mansion reportedly features seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a chef’s kitchen, a temperature-controlled wine room, an indoor basketball court, an interior bowling alley, a home theatre, an entertainment lounge, a spa with a steam shower, a full-service gym, and a billiards room.
The couple had previously filed a lawsuit after being forced to vacate their home due to the mold infestation, as reported by Page Six in February 2024. They had purchased the house in 2019, shortly after their grand wedding in Rajasthan in December 2018, just before the home became ‘virtually unlivable.’
According to Page Six, the water damage in their luxurious Los Angeles mansion led to a mold infestation, initiating a legal battle that has been ongoing since May 2023. The lawsuit, exclusively obtained by Page Six, revealed that issues began around April 2020 with their pool and spa, which had ‘porous waterproofing’ that caused mold contamination and related problems.
Around the same time, a water leak reportedly appeared in the barbecue area on their deck, damaging part of the interior living area below. These issues allegedly rendered the home ‘virtually unlivable’ and ‘dangerous from a health perspective to occupy.’
