Farhan Akhtar’s much-awaited film Don 3, featuring Ranveer Singh and Kiara Advani, has generated a lot of buzz in the industry. Recently, Ranveer Singh was seen at the airport, sporting an all-black outfit and a face mask. This has led to speculation that he could perhaps be hiding his look for the film.
Ranveer wore a black overcoat, paired with matching trousers and a beret as he took off from Mumbai. While he did wave at the paps and showed a thumbs up, he refused to take off the face mask. Many took to comments section to wonder why he is wearing such warm clothes in the hot and humid Mumbai. One fan wrote, “His dressing sense is next level” Another joked, “Is it snowing in Mumbai?” Many also wondered if he’s hiding Don 3’s look behind the mask. “He is not revealing Don 3’s look and that’s why the mask,” wrote one user. Since the announcement of Don 3, fans have been eagerly waiting for Farhan Akhtar’s return to the director’s chair. While the plan was to start filming in August, there’s buzz about a delay as Farhan is reportedly prioritising his acting projects. Reportedly, filming for Don 3 will now begin around December.
Earlier this year, Farhan introduced Kiara Advani as the leading lady for Don 3. Reports suggest that the film is set to have a substantial budget of Rs 275 crore, with speculation mounting that it will be filmed across various expansive global locations.
Last year, Farhan Akhtar unveiled Ranveer Singh as the new Don in the teaser for Don 3: The Final Chapter. The teaser included Ranveer’s voiceover, resonating with the awakening of a lion: “Sher jo so raha hain woh jagega kab, puchte hai yeh sab. Unse keh do phir jaag utha hoon main, aur phir samne jald aane ko…”
