After a brief trip to Dubai, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has returned to Mumbai. He recently made his first social media post from Dubai following the incident of gunfire near his residence in Mumbai’s Bandra area, where he resides with his parents Salim Khan and Salma Khan. Salman shared a video discussing an event organised by Karate Combat, which he attended in Dubai on April 20. The actor was spotted at Mumbai airport on Sunday morning, accompanied by security personnel and his trusted bodyguard Shera.
Salman looked smart in a black t-shirt and white pants as he made his way out the airport towards his car. A police entourage was ahead of his car with heavy security personnel deployed to ensure his safety. Check out the video here:
The actor jetted off to Dubai on Friday for a professional commitment following the firing incident outside his residence last Sunday. He arrived at the airport in his bulletproof SUV that he purchased in 2023 for security reasons. Sharing the video on X, previously known as Twitter, Salman wrote, “Hope to see you tomorrow…” In the video, Salman said, “So I’m in Dubai now and tomorrow I’m going to be at this event called Karate Combat. I won’t say much about the event that you see for yourself, but I want to share a story with you. I know this kid who was doing taekwondo, jujitsu since the age of 2 and then one day we lost contact.”
While Salman Khan has not issued any statement regarding the firing as of now, his father Salim Khan spoke to India Today about the incident. “What’s there to talk about ye jaahil log jo kehte hain maar denge tab pata lagega na (These illiterate people say you’ll learn your lesson when we’ll kill you). We’ve been given extra police protection. They’ve (Mumbai Police) assured protection for us and our friends. If they’ve arrested two people today, that means they’re on it,” he said.
