Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s directorial venture Animal was released in December last year. The film proved to be a massive blockbuster hit at the box office and also sparked interesting conversations, controversies and debates. The film became such a massive talking point that people are still not over it, especially after its OTT release. Now, Sandeep Reddy Vanga has revealed Shah Rukh Khan’s reaction to the film’s teaser.
Speaking to Dainik Bhaskar, Sandeep Reddy Vanga said that he wants to now work with Shah Rukh Khan. He said that while he has met the superstar twice, they haven’t spoken about any collaborations yet. “I want to work with Shah Rukh Khan sir. Every hero ke liye kuch na kuch idea rahega. In Hindi, I definitely want to work with Shah Rukh sir, Ranveer Singh,” he said.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga added, “We did not speak about it (Sandeep’s films). He saw the teaser, he liked the teaser. I showed him the teaser in the office, he had come during Ganpati.”
Meanwhile, at CNN News18’s ‘Indian of the Year 2023’ event, Shah Rukh Khan spoke about how he plays good heroes and if at all he plays the bad guy, he makes sure the character has to suffer a lot. “I am a guy who is hopeful and tells happy stories. The heroes I play do good things, they give hope and happiness. If I play a bad guy, I make sure he suffers a lot, he dies a dog’s death because I believe goodness begets goodness,” he said.
“I believe badness deserves a kick in the backside. I should play honest roles that give people the courage to dream. I should keep working hard quietly with the hope that life doesn’t topple my apple cart anytime soon,” he added. While some people on the internet thought this was a dig at Sandeep’s film, Shah Rukh did not mention the film or the director.
