The story is about two affluent families getting their kids married for a business deal and their wedding planner Jagjinder Joginder (Shahid Kapoor) falls in love with Aliya (Alia Bhatt).

This year’s Dussehra release ‘Shaandaar’ is touted to be as grand as the name suggests. Starring Bollywood’s two hottest youth sensations Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, it is India’s first destination wedding film. Amit Trivedi’s music in the film has already become a chartbuster and the audience is really appreciating the crackling chemistry between Alia and Shahid in the movie. ‘Shaandaar’ also stars Shahid Kapoor’s father Pankaj Kapoor, who plays the role of Alia’s father in the movie.

The story is about two affluent families getting their kids married for a business deal and their wedding planner Jagjinder Joginder (Shahid Kapoor) falls in love with Aliya (Alia Bhatt) and its Aliya’s father Bipin (Pankaj Kapur), who is against the marriage. Aliya (Alia Bhatt) is a dreamer and wants her wedding to be a fairy tale affair.
