Bollywood’s fitness queen Shilpa Shetty sets the floor ablaze with her presence at any fashion event. On Sunday, the Dhadkan actress walked the ramp for renowned designer Asha Jain, in a stunning golden saree, as Tu Jhoom played in the background.
Shilpa Shetty walked became a muse for Asha Jain’s Etasha collection, spreading her grace and fierceness on the ramp in a jaw-dropping, traditional ensemble. The actress shared the images as well as clips from the event on her official Instagram handle. In the photos, Shilpa is seen in a head-turning golden-hued saree, looking like a dream. The whole fit looks to be bathed in gold, the blouse is tailored to the base of her neck with intricate golden embroidery, showing off her sculpted back and midriff. While the draped pallu is designed in such a way that it resembles a golden fire. She has paired the fit with matching golden, block heels and several heavy golden coloured bangles on her right wrist. She has kept her hair open, falling on both shoulders in big waves. After her powerful walk, the actress interacted with the media talking about her outfit and the collection. She said, “I love what I am wearing. It is very comfortable. I love wearing sarees. I think it is fitting to choose an outfit like this when you are going out and to stand out and still be comfortable.”
Furthermore, the outfit’s designer Asha Jain revealed that it was designed keeping only Shilpa in mind and only she could be the collection’s muse. She stated, “She’s done complete justice to the saree.”
When the actress was asked about her thoughts before the walk, she said that before walking on the ramp she does pranayam. She says, “Yoga se sab hoga (Everything will happen with yoga).”
