Prithviraj Sukumaran won everyone over with his brilliant performance in Aadujeevitham – The Goat Life. Written and directed by Blessy, the Malayalam film has been drawing audiences to the theatres and has earned Rs 40.40 crore in less than a week. While fans are praising Prithviraj’s transformation in the film, a new detail about his nude scene Aadujeevitham. Cinematographer Sunil KS revealed that the actor not only fasted for three days to look lean for the scene but also had a shot of Vodka to drain water from his body.
As translated by X user Christopher Kanagaraj, Sunil said, “For the naked scene, Prithviraj was fasting for three days, not even water on the last day; before the shoot, he took 30ML Vodka to drain remaining water from the body. He was carried in a chair to the location. We needed to lift him from the chair before the shot.”

Speaking about his transformation with News18, Prithviraj said he lost 31 kilos for his lean look. “I personally never thought that this was possible. [The most grilling part about it was] the hunger. Because it didn’t involve dieting. It involved me not eating. My transformation was majorly based on fasting. There were times when I was on a 3-day fast,” he shared.
Aadujeevitham – The Goat Life stars Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead role along with Jimmy Jean Louis and Amala Paul in supporting roles.The film has been in the making for almost 16 years. It was first conceptualised in 2008 by Blessy and Sukumaran had agreed to play the part later that year.
