Sonakshi Sinha was spotted for the first time on her wedding day. The actress, who is set to marry Zaheer Iqbal on June 23 – Sunday, was seen out and about in Mumbai on the same day. It seems like the wedding ceremony hasn’t taken place yet. In a video shared by Instant Bollywood, Sonakshi was seen what seems to be Shatrughan Sinha’s house Ramayan.
In the video, Sonakshi was seen speaking with a family member. The bride wore a white short kurta which she styled with a pair of denim pants. She was also seen carrying a handbag. Check out the video below:
Meanwhile, another video has surfaced online claiming that Sonakshi is set to wear a white ensemble for the ceremony. The dress is said to have been sent by Zaheer Iqbal. Watch the video below:
Ahead of her wedding, Sonakshi’s parents hosted a puja on their place. Videos and photos from the puja surfaced online and went viral.
Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are getting married after dating for seven years. The couple is said to be getting their wedding registered on Sunday morning. “The event will be an intimate affair with only family members and close friends in attendance,” The Indian Express reported. The actress’ father, veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha was upset that she had not kept him informed about her wedding plans. But he eventually gave her his blessings.
“Shadiyan sab ke ghar hoti hain. Pre-wedding conflicts are also common. We are all okay now. Whatever the stress has been sorted,” he told Times Now before adding, “Koi wand nahi hai. Yeh sab hota hi hai har shaadi main. Just because she is Shatrughan Sinha’s daughter, it doesn’t mean Sonakshi can’t have what she wants in life. Hum log bohot maza karenge June 23 ko.”
