Suhana Khan never misses a chance to cheer for her father, Superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). On Friday, the actress arrived at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai to witness the IPL 2024 match between KKR and Mumbai Indians (MI) along with her girl besties Shanaya Kapoor and Ananya Panday and brother AbRam. The team recorded a historic win against MI after 12 years at this venue, and Suhana celebrated the victory with her “dream team”.
Taking to Instagram, Suhana shared a cute selfie in which The Archies actress is seen sitting inside her car in the back seat. She wore a white T-shirt with KKR logo on it. Seated behind was her little bro AbRam, and Ananya Panday and Shanaya Kapoor. While the Dream Girl 2 actress is seen posing for the camera from the rear seat, Shanaya is looking outside the window. “Dream Team (slurp and purple heart emoticon),” the picture’s caption reads.
Apart from this, Suhana also shared a series of posts on her stories about KKR’s win against MI at the Wankhede Stadium. Actress Janhvi Kapoor also attended the match on Friday along with director Sharan Sharma to promote her upcoming film, Mr and Mrs Mahi.
Talking about the match, with this 24-run win against MI, team KKR has taken a step closer to marking their spot in the playoffs. Currently, as per the points table, KKR is at number 2 with 14 points while MI is at number 9 with just 6 points.
Earlier, Suhana along with Ananya and her father SRK jetted off to Kolkata to watch the IPL 2024 match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Lucknow Super Giants at the Eden Garden stadium. Sharing a series of pictures from KKR’s home ground Suhana captioned her post, “Winning at home (Three purple heart emoticons).”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Suhana made her acting debut with Zoya Akhtar’s drama film The Archies which streamed on the OTT platform Netflix. The film also marked the acting debut of producer Boney Kapoor’s daughter Khushi Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda. The film however failed to impress the audiences.
Reportedly, Suhana will be next seen in director Sujoy Ghosh’s film King along with her father Shah Rukh Khan. However, an official announcement of the film is still awaited.
