Super 30 First Look: Hrithik Roshan Turns Into Maths Guru Anand Kumar For The Biopic

The makers of Super 30 on Tuesday unveiled the first look of the film featuring Hrithik Roshan in a key role.

The look was shared on the official page of Phantom Films. "From the first page in Benares! @ihrithik as Anand Kumar! #Super30 @Super30Film @RelianceEnt @NGEMovies @anandteacher," read the caption.

In the first-look photograph, a bearded Hrithik seems to be lost in his thoughts while looking at something. The film is based on the life and times of Bihar's maths genius Anand Kumar (portrayed by Hrithik), who is a mathematics wizard and teaches 30 meritorious and talented candidates each year from economically backward sections for the entrance examination for the Indian Institute of Technology.

The team had began the preparation in January and Hrithik had taken to Twitter to announce the new beginning. "On the auspicious day of Saraswati Puja and Basant Panchami, I am beginning my journey of Super 30 where I am playing a teacher for the first time. May the Goddess of learning bless this effort," he wrote.
