Terribly Tiny Talkies is a natural extension to bite-sized storytelling, just like Terribly Tiny Tales (an online story telling platform). Having narrowed the ethos of talkies down to a simple format, a bunch of invited writer-directors slice a given word or theme in any way they want, in less than five minutes. It celebrates interpretations in the sense, these films will bring alive the essence of a given theme (this time, 'love', since it's Valentine's Day) in a unique manner. There is EL'AYICHI by Devashish Makhija, starring the brilliant Nimrat Kaur, Divyendu Sharma, Vibha Chibber and Dodo.A dead but clingy husband and grieving but annoyed wife lock horns over what chai should be made today - adrak or ilayichi. Shlok Sharma's R.I.P (ROMANCE IN PEACE) features veterans Tom Alter and Shiv Subramaniam. It's never too late to find love! Adhiraj Bose's film THE LAST DAY stars the dynamic duo of Namit Das and Tahir Raj Bhasin. It's a story of 2 roommates, on the night one of them is moving out after 8 years. What do they want to say to each other? Can they say it all? Vasan Bala's BUNNY has the supremely promising Sayani Gupta and Sunny Kaushal. A boy and a girl pop sleeping pills around a fireplace in a forest. You won't believe what happened next! The film DEUCE by Chintan Ruparel features Mandira Bedi and Rohan Shah. A never ending game about love, insecurities, and acceptance; told around an intense match of table tennis between a mother and a son. These terribly tiny films will be released on their official Facebook page and YouTube channel on the 14th of February, 2015, although two exclusive previews will take place on the 11th of February (Matterden CFC, Lower Parel) and the 13th of February (National College, Bandra) in Mumbai.
