Actor Blake Lively potentially making a cameo as Lady Deadpool in Deadpool & Wolverine is still up in the air, but there’s no doubt she will surprise us in other ways. The Gossip Girls actor just ended up crashing an interview of her husband Reynolds, 47 and his Deadpool & Wolverine co-star Hugh Jackman, 55. They had stepped in as guest hosts for the Wednesday, July 24 episode of ABC’s late-night talk show while Jimmy Kimmel wasn’t present. During their show, Reynolds received an unexpected call from his wife while he was interviewing his co-star.
“I’m so sorry … I’m sorry, it’s Blake," Reynolds told Jackman as his phone rang mid-interview. “We always promised we’d answer in the middle of something."
“Hi, baby," Lively greeted when Reynolds answered. “Is now an OK time?" she asked. Reynolds replied, “No, no, no … it’s fine. We’re at Kimmel’s. We’re just rehearsing."
“I love you so much, I’m just bored," Lively said. Reynolds then turned his phone to show Lively to the studio audience and Kimmel’s sidekick, Guillermo.
“That’s great," Ryan said warmly. “We’re just here. Guillermo (Rodriguez) is here." Reynolds, 47, also showed off Blake to the audience, who cheered in response.
“And Alec is here," Ryan added before explaining, “He’s the stage manager. He’s British … and he looks really upset right now." “So I’m just gonna get off the phone right there," he said, ending the call and putting his phone away.
“You were saying?" Reynolds asked Jackman, seamlessly returning to the interview while Jackman pretended to be too shocked to speak.

Blake Lively has been a significant part of Reynolds and Jackman’s Deadpool & Wolverine promotional tour. She attended the movie’s New York City premiere on Monday, July 22, with her friend Gigi Hadid and her and Reynolds’ four children: James, 9, Inez, 7, Betty, 4 and Olin, 18 months.
Meanwhile, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman’s much-awaited MCU crossover film, Deadpool & Wolverine releases today. As per the early reviews, the film has received an extremely positive response. Some fans as well as critics have even called it the much-needed ‘revival of the Marvel films.’
