Leading Hollywood actors Dwayne ‘Rock’ Johnson and Ryan Reynolds worked together in the 2021 film titled Red Notice. Almost three years after the film’s release, a shocking revelation has come to the fore about an alleged “fight” that broke out between the two lead actors on the sets. According to fresh reports by The Wrap and TMZ, it was Dwayne’s tardiness that left Ryan furious, and he ended up feuding with his co-actor. It further states that the Black Adam actor would arrive 7-8 hours late on the film’s sets regularly, often forcing the crew to “shoot around him.”

While his attitude reportedly left his directors quite upset, it also got him into major fights with his co-stars, including Vin Diesel and Ryan Reynolds. Dwayne reportedly arrived several hours late on the sets of their Netflix, leaving Ryan “infuriated.” Later, they got into a “huge fight,” following which Dwayne stormed off the sets.
While it was reported that the two didn’t speak to each other for years after the incident, a Page Six report suggests that they are now “good” and have talked it out. “There was no stomping off set … no loud argument that’s not true. The water was under the bridge. They’re professionals,” the source said, as quoted by the outlet.
Notably, Dwayne Johnson’s tardiness has been an issue for several years now. A report by The Wrap also mentions that the actor used to arrive late, even for the shoots of his Apple TV show Ballers. “He was regularly three to four hours late to set. Keeping 100+ crew members waiting for no reason,” it states, further adding that it was the same story on the sets of his 2018 film Rampage. In the meantime, sources at Amazon MGM maintain that the actor was late by more than an hour for his shooting.
On the other hand, the report made another shocking claim that Johnson had a habit of peeing in a water bottle to save time, which would leave his crew members upset.
