The Upendra-starrer film UI is all set to hit the theatres soon. Fans have been waiting eagerly for the film. Reports suggest that Upendra has used technology to design the characters of the film. The makers recently organised a press conference to address several questions that have been circulating among the fans for several days. Let us know more about the development in this article. There has been a lot of curiosity regarding the release of UI. The release date still remains a question mark, as the makers are yet to announce it. Many people assumed that Upendra would announce it on the occasion of his birthday which was celebrated in a grand manner yesterday, September 18. In the press conference, the crew talked about the elements of the film but did not disclose the exact date of its release. Earlier, several rumours came up that the film will hit the theatres in October , which looks like a mere speculation now.

When Upendra was asked about the release he said, “We never said that the film will release in October. We only mentioned October.” His fans were left disheartened as the actual date of its release remains a question.

Speaking at the event, Producer Sreekanth KP said that they are on the verge of finalising the release dates. “We are on the verge of finalising the release date and we are planning to announce it as soon as possible. We will hold another press conference soon to confirm the date,” he said.

Another producer G Manoharan mentioned that the film will be released this year itself. He added that they are planning for a grand release of the film. The delay in announcing the release date is reportedly due to their efforts to release it on a large scale.

While speaking about the film, Upendra praised the performance of Reeshma Nanaiah stating that she acted wonderfully in the film. “She has given a very good performance. I am really impressed with her acting and dancing skills. Her performance in the Troll Song has been superb.” Upendra is reportedly using 3D Scans of the actors in his film.

According to reports, UI was initially planning to release the film in the Kannada language. After the producers understood the potential of it, now they have decided to make it bigger. More updates regarding this are yet to be released.
