The hit trio of Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma from Jab Tak Hai Jaan is back with Zero. The story revolves around a vertically challenged man, a specially-abled woman and a film superstar. They all have different dreams in life and how they face rejections while moving ahead forms the central idea of the film.
In a conversation with News 18, Shah Rukh talked about his struggling days. He said how he didn’t know horse-riding and how his body was not muscularly built like popular actors of that time. He was advised to return home but he continued with his pursuit and reached where he wanted to be.
Katrina narrated a very emotional incident in which choreographer Raju Sundaram, actor Prabhudeva’s brother, called her ‘zero’ in front of everyone. Raju and Katrina are good friends today, but it wasn’t less than a shock for her back then.
It went with the theme of the film which focuses on the will to excel in life. Interestingly, Katrina said in the interview that she is fluent but scared of speaking up in Hindi. Shah rukh also revealed that he is a terrific bathroom singer.
Directed by Anand L Rai, the film will hit the screens on December 21, 2018.
