Just like everyone else, Arjun Kapoor is also impressed with The Archies trailer. On Thursday, the actor took to his Instagram handle, shared the trailer of Zoya Akhtar directorial and penned down a sweet note for his step-sister Kushi Kapoor.
“@khushi05k, you have no idea mujhe kitni khushi hui looking at this trailer!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ It’s finally here and just looking like a WOW!!” Arjun wrote and mentioned that he cannot wait to watch the other The Archies gang on screen. Arjun Kapoor is Boney Kapoor’s son from his first wife Mona Shourie Kapoor. Kushi Kapoor is Boney’s daughter from his second wife Sridevi, and Arjun’s stepsister. Kushi also has a sister, actress Janhvi Kapoor. Kushi, Janhvi, Arjun and his sister Anshula have developed a close bond in recent years.
The Archies marks Kushi Kapoor, Agastya Nanda and Suhana Khan’s Bollywood debut. The Indian adaptation of the beloved comics will see Dot play Ethel Muggs, Agastya as the charming and talented Archie Andrews, Khushi will take on the role of Betty Cooper, Mihir Ahuja as the always hungry Jughead Jones, Veronica Lodge will be portrayed by Suhana Khan, Heartthrob Reggie Mantle will be showcased by Vedang Raina and Yuvraj Menda will play Dilton Doiley.
Prior to Arjun Kapoor, Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and Karan Johar among others also laud the trailer of th Zoya Akhtar directorial. While SRK called it ‘sweet and meaningful’, Abhishek welcomed young stars ‘to the movies’.
