Janhvi Kapoor is known for her performance in hard-hitting films like Bawaal,
Mili, Good Luck Jerry, Gunjan Saxena to name a few. But when she is not acting, Janhvi likes to back important initiatives that are set in place to spread awareness. Following that trajectory, the actress has teamed up with the ‘#IPledgeToPrevent’ initiative, to raise awareness about HPV. The initiative kickstarts with an awareness video featuring Janhvi Kapoor, emphasizing on early vaccination in safeguarding the health and safety of our loved ones.
Lending her support, Janhvi Kapoor shared, “HPV is a major health concern that can lead to devastating consequences, including cervical cancer. It’s crucial to acknowledge that HPV doesn’t discriminate by gender. It’s an issue that affects us all, and the more we know, the better we can protect ourselves and our loved ones. By standing together, we have the power to educate, to empower one another, and to make a real impact in preventing this silent threat. I pledge to prevent, because knowledge is our strongest shield against HPV.”
From her debut movie Dhadak in 2018 to the recently released Bawaal, Janhvi Kapoor has come a long way in the showbiz world. She has also been a part of successful films like Mili, Good Luck Jerry and Roohi among others.
Janhvi is now gearing up for her debut in Telugu cinema with Koratala Siva’s directorial venture Devara. The film also stars Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan and Prakash Raj in key roles. Earlier this year, Janhvi released her first look poster from the movie and expressed excitement. “It is finally happening. Can’t wait to set sail with my favourite @jrntr,” she wrote. Besides this, Janhvi Kapoor will soon also be seen in Mr and Mrs Mahi which alos stars Rajkummar Rao in the lead. The film is being directed by Sharan Sharma, who previously directed Janhvi in the lead role in his directorial debut, the 2020 film Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl. While not much details about Mr and Mrs Mahi are known as of now, the film is likely to hit theatres in March 2024.
