The ‘Jawan’ fever has enveloped the entire nation, with Shah Rukh Khan’s irresistible charm casting a spell on his fans. They continue to flock to theatres, refusing to put a halt to their festive-like celebrations. While you may have already stumbled upon images and videos of people rising from their seats to dance in the theaters or even offer prayers at life-sized Shah Rukh Khan installations scattered across various locations, Ameesha Patel who has just delivered a blockbuster herself in the form of Gadar 2 has given a lovely shoutout to Shah Rukh Khan, Atlee and the team.
On Saturday, Ameesha Patel took to her X(formerly Twitter) handle and shared a poster of Jawan featuring Shah Rukh Khan in all the different avatars. She also accompanied her post with a heartfelt note, acknowledging the box office storm brought about Atlee’s magnum opus. Talking about Jawan, the film stars Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, Ridhi Dogra and Vijay Sethupathi in key roles. Deepika Padukone also plays an extended cameo in the movie. Earlier today, Shah Rukh Khan took to the microblogging site X, formerly known as Twitter and thanked fans for showering immense love on his movie. “Thank you for all the love and appreciation for #Jawan!! Stay safe and happy… Please keep sending in the pics and videos of all of you enjoying at the movies…. And I will be back soon to see all of them! Until then… Party with Jawan in the theatres!! Lots of love and gratitude!” he wrote.
Jawan broke all records by earning over Rs 75 crore nett in India on day 1 for all languages. It then collected Rs 53 crore on day 2. This means that the film’s total collection stands close to Rs 128 crore as of now.
