Koffee With Karan 8: Ranveer Singh Mimics Hrithik Roshan (Again) And We Can't Even

Karan Johar’s celebrity chat show, Koffee With Karan, is back with a brand new season. The first episode premiered on October 26, and the first guests this year were the much-adored couple in Tinsel Town, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. This was the couple’s first appearance on the show together. During the episode, the two had a candid chat with Karan, and the actress talked about her onscreen chemistry with her co-stars. Deepika shared that she has amazing chemistry with Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Irrfan Khan, and also Hrithik Roshan.

During the popular rapid-fire round on Koffee With Karan 8, Karan Johar asked Deepika Padukone to select the actors with whom she has the finest ‘onscreen chemistry’. In response, she stated that she had excellent on-screen chemistry with a number of stars. Deepika said, “The truth is I think I have good chemistry with a lot of people. It goes without saying that Ranveer and I have amazing chemistry, which is why we are even on this couch. But Shah Rukh, Ranbir. I had amazing chemistry with Irrfan, I think I have amazing chemistry with Hrithik, which everyone’s going to see in Fighter.”

Deepika Padukone made her Bollywood debut alongside Shah Rukh Khan in Om Shanti Om and later collaborated with the megastars Chennai Express, Happy New Year, Pathaan, and Jawan. The actress worked with Ranbir Kapoor in Bachna Ae Haseeno, Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, and Tamasha. The actress also worked with the late Irrfan Khan in Piku. She will appear alongside Hrithik Roshan for the first time in Fighter, which is slated to release in January 2024.

On the mention of Hrithik Roshan, Ranveer Kapoor mimicked the actor on the show, leaving Karan Johar and Deepika Padukone in splits. Meanwhile, on Koffee with Karan, Deepika and Ranveer shared their wedding video for the first time. The clip made Karan Johar emotional. He said, “I am not in a relationship and I am kind of single. It just makes me feel like what I am losing out on not being in one. You don’t have a partner of your own to share the nothings of your day with. And every day, I wake up and a little part of me feels that vaccum.” Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone tied the knot in 2018.

Work-wise, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone will be seen in Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe film Singham 3. Deepika Padukone will appear in Kalki 2898 AD alongside Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan.
