Malaika Arora Talks About 'New Beginnings' In 48th Birthday Note, Shares Pic In 'Favourite Bathrobe'

Malaika Arora had a rather low-key birthday this year. The Bollywood diva on Monday took to her Instagram account to share a lengthy note as she turned 48. Malaika also spoke about “the new beginnings” amid reports of her rumoured breakup with Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor.

Sharing a series of photos from her intimate birthday bash, Malaika wrote: “As the sun sets on another year & I turn 48, (in my favourite bathrobe) I am grateful for the peace, my people and my calm that has been my companion throughout this journey. Sitting here, each moment feels like a gentle whisper, guiding me towards self-discovery and inner strength. Here’s to the soothing whispers of the breeze, the mesmerizing sunsets that reflect the promise of new beginnings, and the warmth of the people who have made my life beautiful. Once again, grateful for the life I have got to live so far and hopeful for the life ahead. Happy birthday to me!”

Arjun and Malika have been together for about five years now. Malaika Arora was previously married to actor Arbaaz Khan. Malaika also shares a son with Arbaaz.

Few months ago, speculations were rife that Arjun and Malaika broke up after the latter shared a cryptic message on her Instagram Stories. The note talked about ‘change’ and not longing for the past. “Change is the law of life. And those who look only to the past or present are certain to miss the future,” the quote shared by Malaika on her social media account read. Arjun was then rumoured to be dating Kusha Kapila, who later denied the rumours.
