In a recent development, the Mumbai Traffic Police has implemented revised speed limits on nine crucial roads following consultations with various stakeholders. These updated speed limits will be enforced starting today, December 13, 2023. Speed Limits Of THESE Mumbai Roads Changed
As previously mentioned, alterations have been made to the speed limits on nine important roads within the Maharashtra capital. Below is the updated list detailing the roads affected by this change and their revised speed limits:
1. P D’Mello Road:
– Godrej Junction to Opera House (Maharshi Karve Road): 40 kmph
– Haji Ali Junction to Mahalaxmi Railway Station (Keshavrao Khadye Marg): 40 kmph
2. North South Flyover, Chheda Nagar:
– Both ascending and descending ramps: 40 kmph
3. Bindu Madhav Chowk to Love Grove Junction (Khan Abdul Gaffar Khan Road):
– Diamond Junction to MTNL Junction (BKC): 60 kmph
4. Jijamata Bhosle Flyover (Chembur):
– Ascending ramp: 60 kmph
– Descending ramp: 40 kmph
5. Amar Mahal Flyover (Chembur):
– Overall speed limit: 70 kmph
– Ascending and descending ramps: 40 kmph
6. JVLR Flyover (West to East Travel):
– Overall speed limit: 70 kmph
– Ascending and descending ramps, turns: 30 kmph
